Course description

The Basic Qaida Course is designed to teach students the foundational skills of reading the Quran in Arabic. The course uses the Noorani Qaida — a step-by-step booklet that introduces Arabic letters, pronunciation rules (Tajweed), and the fundamentals of Quranic reading. It is ideal for those who are completely new to Arabic or Quranic recitation.

Course Objectives:

• Recognize and pronounce all Arabic letters correctly

• Understand and apply the basic rules of Tajweed

• Learn letter joining and syllable formation

• Practice short and long vowels (Harakat and Madd)

• Begin reading simple Arabic words and verses fluently

• Develop confidence in reading the Quran independently

2. Harakat (Fatha, Kasra, Damma)

3. Sukoon and Jazm

4. Tanween and Shaddah

5. Madd Letters and Rules

6. Joining Letters into Words

7. Simple Quranic Words and Phrases

What will i learn?

• After completing this course, Student recognize and pronounce all Arabic letters correctly from their respective articulation points (Makharij).
